TODAY’S VERSE
“Here is a boy with five small barley loaves and two small fish, but how far will they go among so many?” – “When they had all had enough to eat, he said to his disciples, ‘Gather the pieces that are left over. Let nothing be wasted.’ So they gathered them and filled twelve baskets with the pieces of the five barley loaves left over by those who had eaten.” John 6:9, 12-13 (NIV)
TODAY’S THOUGHT
I love the Lord’s math. He made the whole creation out of nothing! He took the death of one man, Jesus, and is able to forgive the sins of every person that comes to Him. He took the boy’s five loaves and two fishes and fed thousands of people. Can you imagine what He can do with our one life if we dedicated it to Him? God is the God of compound interest! He can take the little that we have and compound it into an eternity of impact for His purposes. Today, do not despair if all you have is a few loaves and fishes. Bring what you have to God. Give Him your life. Consecrate it to Him for His service and then get out of the way! God is waiting to compound the willingness of His people.
TODAY’S PRAYER
Father, thank You that You can take my life and use it for Your service. I pray, Father, take what I have and multiply it for Your good. I give You my life, here I am Lord, use me.

I give my life to God for His service
Picture yourself as the boy with the loafs of bread and fish. Jesus comes along and takes it and multiplies it feeding thousands of people. Now picture Him coming to you. See yourself giving Him your life, your talents, your possessions. Picture God taking you, just the way you are, and using you for His glory.
