Today : My Needs
TODAY’S VERSE
“Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians 4:6 (NLT)
TODAY’S THOUGHT
We have choices. Paul starts this passage of scripture by saying, “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything.” This is easy to say, but hard to do! So Paul follows it with a simple but profound credo, “Tell God what you need!” “Thank God for all He has done.” We can all do that. Do you have a need? Tell God about it. Has something good happened in your life? Thank God for it. What is so amazing is Paul’s promise. If we will start sharing our needs with God and become more and more thankful for what He is doing Pauls promises, “Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.” It’s simple, why not start today, “Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.”
TODAY’S PRAYER
Dear Lord Jesus, I will start today. I will tell you my needs. I will come to You and share my heart. And then I will be thankful for what You are doing. As I do, please help me to experience Your peace, help me experience it in my heart and mind.

I am trusting God with all my needs and thanking Him with all my heart
Quiet yourself and visualize yourself coming to God. See Him as the most loving Father in the whole universe and He loves you. Sense the freedom and joy as you come and share with Him all your needs. Sense how thankful you are for His love and concern. See yourself talking with Him sharing, laughing, and loving the way He loves you and provides for your needs.
